The Christian Zombie Killer’s Handbook – Jeff Kinley

I have to admit, I’m not really into Zombies at all, but when I saw the title of this book I knew I had to check it out. It actually turned out to be a rather good book too. I really like the way Kinley uses a story, and a zombie story at that, to bring out ideas that really make you think about your life as a Christian. You may think that zombies don’t really exist, but this book may just give you a new perspective on what a zombie really is.

One thing I did not like much about this book, however, was that it felt like I was reading two books at the same time. There would be a chapter of the story, followed by a chapter on and idea related to the story. I would find myself getting engrossed in the story, only to move on to something different, and vice versa. Overall a good book, but not sure I like the chapters being intertwined like they were.

- FYI, I got this book from Booksneeze.com in exchange for my review. I was not required to be positive, and did not receive any other compensations. If you enjoy reading, and have a blog of your own, check out Booksneeze.com!

I want to read this book. I heard Jeff on “In The Market” with Janet Parahall today, 10/03/11. I loved the explanation to one caller about death being separation. Having been a christian for over 37 years I don’t think I have heard the death of sin put the way Jeff states it, helps me understand better the “sin” within. Now I need to read more from him.
    Blessings
