So today was the first day of my new workout. I’m going on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the big difference between all the workouts I’ve done in the past is that for this one I have a trainer. When I first joined at Gold’s Maxx I had one free session with a trainer, and that dude almost killed me. Literally. I mean, I was hobbling for almost a week. I was a little afraid of that same thing happening going into today, but my friend has had a trainer now for at least a month, and he’s loved it, so I decided to go for it.
I’ll just say, this dude killed me! Even so, it wasn’t in the same way as the guy at Gold’s… at least I don’t think so. I mean, he pushed me, and he pushed me farther than I thought I could go, but in the end, I felt good… well, other than being tired, stiff, having a pretty bad headache, and feeling like I was going to puke. Honestly though, when our session was over, I felt good about myself. I had been pushed, and even though I didn’t do as well as I wanted (or probably even should have), I know that next time I’ll still give it all I’ve got.
