Ever since I read an article about Albert Pujols in a christian magazine that I was subscribed to at the time, I have been a huge fan of his. In fact, the only reason I would even cheer for St. Louis would be because of Albert. I knew he was a great man of God, never afraid to share his beliefs, but in this book I really learned more about than man that is Albert Pujols and what made him what he is.
Biographies have never been something I would just pick up and read either, but this one had to be an exception. This book is well written and really deepened my respect for the man who could very well be this generations “Babe Ruth.” From the son of a softball star in the Dominican Republic to one of the top players in the MLB, this book covers it all. The only thing that would be better than reading it would probably be meeting the man himself!
