In Lis Wiehl’s latest Triple Threat Club novel, the girls come face to face with a cold blooded killer who proves that appearances can be deceiving… to the point of death. Elizabeth Avery is beautiful, and manages to manipulate those she meets into doing what she wants. As she leaves many people dead, it’s up to the girls to end her threat.
Just like the other Triple Threat novels, this was definitely one that I did not want to put down, but it wasn’t a nail biter in the usual way. Instead of trying to figure out who the killer really is, in “Heart of Ice,” the reader is left to wonder how the killer is going to even be discovered, much less stopped.
Even though the book isn’t small, it flows nicely, making it a fairly quick read. Once you start, you won’t want to stop anyway!
