Last night we went on our first big shopping trip since I’ve got back into couponing. We ended up going to a total of five stores, which could have been overkill for our first real try, but I think it turned out ok. Below are the results of our labors.
I would break down what we bought at each store, and how much we saved at each store, but that would probably be pretty boring, so I’ll just say that all that stuff we bought, at normal retail price would have been $206.29. What did we pay for it?
That’s $130.71 in total savings, or 67% if you prefer to look at it that way. Using coupons the right way does work folks, and I’m just getting started!
Oh, and the water was something extra we got to send to people who are struggling after the storms this past week. We knew we couldn’t do much, but we at least wanted to do something!
