Eggs… Sweet Potatoes… Donuts…
Each one of those has it’s place in today’s post. First, if I could figure out how to make a fried egg or omelette without it sticking I would be a happy man. I said earlier today that if it wasn’t for eggs and sweet potatoes I don’t think I would have made it as far as I have on this whole 30. Eggs have been my go to breakfast (and sometimes lunch) while sweet potatoes have been the go to side. I even discovered that our salad shooter can grate a sweet potato a lot faster than I can. That made them even easier to cook up as hash browns or something like that.
On the other hand, donuts (along with pizza and honey buns) have been playing havoc with my brain. I keep feeling like I “need” something sweet, but I know that I don’t. I just hope it passes by day 31.
Anyway, my days continue to be good with plenty of energy and such, but I’m hoping I can finally start to catch up on sleep tonight since I don’t have to get up at a certain time in the morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be a very nice day too, so I’m hoping to make tbe most of it in some way.
And with that, it’s bedtime!
