About

Hi my name is Phillip Coxwell

I grew up loving technology, and was into computers back before all the high tech stuff we have today. I never did get too technical with it until I started doing websites in highschool. Of course I went through the “high school” stage of webdesign, using all the frames and blinking text I could stand, but I quickly grew out of that and began to learn PHP and other great ways to enhance and make all around better websites.

After high school I attended Auburn University, where I got a job working with the IT department for the College of Sciences and Math. There I continued to develop my website skills, along with computer repairs, upgrades, troubleshooting and plenty other computer related tasks. I even tried to learn a little programming for other types of applications. I discovered that other than websites, programming is not really my cup of tea though.

In 2005 I graduated from Auburn University with degree in Instrumental Music Education, but then decided I wanted to use my talents elsewhere. I picked up Macs and began working full time as the Mac Support and Video Production guy for COSAM that winter, and have been there ever since. I have been Apple Certified, and am currently in the process of trying to get recertified once again, but my main passion has been with video. I have become quite fluent in both filming and editing the video that we do, and I am constantly learning and adding new techniques to my arsenal every day.
